ABOUT

Michalis Karaolides [ b.1991] is a Greek Cypriot artist born and raised in Cyprus. He studied architecture at University of Cyprus and completed his postgraduate studies in Environmental Architectural Design and Urban Planning at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His studies but also his perception about what is image and what is nature lead him to deal with aerial photography.

His images are strongly characterized by simplicity and symmetry as they reveal urban and natural landscapes in a unique way. At the same time, between minimalism and geometries, he manage to perfectly integrate the main theme of the photo into the surrounding space.

Neverlandinggr is his way of creatively conveying how he sees the world through the third dimension. At the same time, to propose a different way of perceiving urban densities and patterns of nature.
